Pretty Girls That Rock the Mic
A Benefit Concert for Breast Cancer Awareness
Val Santos has an energy that’s infectious. Whether she is concert hopping on the weekends, connecting through social media or taking over the airwaves in Austin she brings her signature relatability and humor with her everywhere she goes! Born in Raised in Phoenix, Arizona; Val’s love affair with radio started as a child when she would record her favorite shows onto cassette tapes and talk over the jocks pretending she herself was the host. The light bulb went off above her head after leaving a Chris Brown concert and seeing a DJ hype up the crowd that this radio life was for her. Taking her life in her hands Val headed to Albany New York where she attended the New School of Radio & TV. In 2011 Val packed her bags for the Lone Star State and brought her talents with her to Texas starting out as an intern. Currently reigning as an iHeartmedia social media director and radio talent, Val is killing the airwaves as a fan favorite personality for KPEZ 102.3 The Beat in Austin, TX!

What started as a love for words blossomed into a decade-long career as an emcee for KB the Boo Bonic. While growing up in Houston Texas she began freestyling and became entranced by the culture of hip hop. During her senior year of college she penned her debut album, "Scars Are Sexy". The now Austin-based femcee has since released her sophmore album, "Farrah Flossitt", and is currently finalizing her next single, "You Ain't Kno", produced by Zaytoven. Last year she was ecstatic to play her first international show in Mexico City and is scheduled to perform across the U.S. in 2016.
By being a strong, educated woman facing the challenges of the often misogynistic landscape of hip hop, KB hopes to show young women that they can achieve any goal they set for themselves with passion, hard work, and integrity. Like a boss chick. KB the Boo Bonic can be reached at email@example.com.
